Prepping your skin for Summer!
Blue skies, sunshine and warm weather – Summer, is that you? The countdown is on! With less than 10 days until our favorite season officially hits, it’s time to prep that skin and get it summer ready. Here are the quintessential steps to help your skin stay healthy and hydrated during the sizzling heat of summer.
Exfoliate
Exfoliating is crucial to achieving that healthy summer glow. Not only will it effectively polish and stimulate the surface of your skin, it also promotes healthy cell regeneration. Our Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub will leave your face radiant while the Energizing Body Scrub will take care of your body. For best results, complete the regimen by hydrating your skin with a body oil, and or body moisturizer.
Moisturize
too much time in the sun can dehydrate and damage your skin, causing premature aging (noooo). Look for a fast absorbing moisturizer to provide that instant hydration boost. For normal skin types, use Sukin Facial Moisturizer, for combination/oily skin, try Sukin’s Oil Balancing Moisturizer and Sensitive Facial Moisturizer for sensitive skin.
For an instant cool down, here’s a trick we use at Sukin HQ. Keep your Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner in the fridge. Whenever you’re in need of an instant burst of cool and fresh skin, give yourself a spritz. You’ll feel refreshed instantly!
Lather it up
Using a natural body wash aids in restoring the natural balance of moisture to the skin. Formulated with natural oils, these help to nourish your skin from the inside out. The Sukin Botanical Body Wash , which contains Jojoba, Avocado and Rose Hip oils help to soften, hydrate and purify the skin, while the signature Sukin scent will have you smelling like summer!
Aftercare
The sun can be harsh on your skin, especially the Australian sun. Sukin’s Aloe Vera Gel is the perfect way to help restore moisture back into your skin, while simultaneously soothing and cooling skin, especially after it may be irritated or inflamed after prolongs sun exposure.
